The Basics
Since Way Out West started in 2007, the festival has been blessed with stars such as Prince, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Florence + The Machine, Neil Young, M.I.A., Alicia Keys, Stormzy, Frank Ocean, Robyn, The xx, Patti Smith, Solange, and The Cure, just to name a few.
Stay Out West
Way Out West 2924 will take place in Slottsskogen and around central Gothenburg between August 8-10 2024. The main site is located at Slottsskogen.
When the last tone is played in Slottsskogen and the area becomes silent, the festival continues in venues all over central Gothenburg. It accelerates and moves on with concerts long into the morning hours under the Stay Out West flag.
Way Out West’s film program is included in the ticket and takes place at Hagabion and Capitol.

Sustainability is a keyword for Way Out West and has been since our start in 2007. As the only festival in Sweden, and as the first music festival in the world in 2013, Way Out West holds an ISO 20121 certification.
