PARIS – Since 2013, Peacock Society has become a prominent event on the French cultural calendar, dedicated to electronic music and its related visual aesthetics. The festival continues to develop as a key platform for international and French electronic artists, presenting both established names and emerging talent. This year, Art Box portal has been accredited to cover both days of the festival.

The 2025 edition will take place at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes, a historic venue dating back to 1863. The location will host the 14th edition of the festival across 40,000 square meters of open-air space, with an estimated 30,000 attendees expected.

Program Overview

Friday – Opening Night: The event begins with a dedicated “opening show” featuring a selection of live electronic performances from notable artists, combining legacy acts with current performers.

Saturday – Main Festival Day: The festival spans four stages, presenting a full-day program that features a diverse selection of electronic music genres, including house, techno, and experimental forms.

For 2025, organizers have redesigned the festival’s scenography to make it more modular and immersive. The focus is on providing a more detailed and up-to-date visual and spatial experience, while maintaining accessibility for a broad public audience.

Organizational Priorities

Peacock Society emphasizes three main areas in its approach to event management:

Prevention and response to discrimination, harassment, and violence, particularly regarding gender-based or sexual misconduct.

Management of risky behavior, with dedicated staff present on site.

Environmental responsibility includes waste reduction, energy and water efficiency, and sustainable transportation options.

To support these goals, the festival encourages the following:

Use of public transport, as no car parking is available nearby

Waste sorting using marked containers on site

Bringing reusable water bottles, which can be refilled at water stations

Downloading the Safer app to report or respond to incidents of harassment or violence during the event

Visitor Guidelines

Permitted items include:

Smartphones, headphones, and phone batteries

Reusable water bottles or thermoses (non-glass, empty upon entry)

Foldable umbrellas without pointed tips, sunscreen

Small bags, tote bags, waist bags, changing bags

Disposable cameras, Polaroid cameras

Assistance dogs

Prohibited items include:

Camping gear (tents, chairs, coolers)

Alcohol, illegal substances, weapons, and fireworks

Glass containers, canned food, and metal tins

Drones, loudspeakers, tripods, musical instruments

Large bags or suitcases (over 50 × 30 × 25 cm)

Unauthorized distribution of flyers or promotional materials

Items marked as non-returnable will not be returned if confiscated.
