Ljiljana Maletin Vojvodić is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction, an artist, and the editor of Art Box portal, a platform dedicated to contemporary culture. As Editor-in-Chief, she curates content that informs and engages readers on women’s issues, diverse cultures, visual art, film, literature, and the performing arts. Through the careful selection and presentation of diverse texts, she strives to make contemporary art and underrepresented perspectives—including those of women and marginalized voices—more accessible and relevant to a wider audience.

As a writer, cultural researcher, and artist with a deep connection to Scandinavia and Northern Europe, Ljiljana Maletin Vojvodić has worked across various locations in the region, including Norway (USF Verftet, Frida Hansen Hus, KH Messen, The Spitsbergen Artists Center / Svalbard), Iceland (Gunnar Gunnarsson Residency), Sweden (Konstepidemin), Finland (Erro Nelimarkka Museum, KulttuuriKauppila), and Greenland (Upernavik Museum).


Throughout her career, Maletin Vojvodić has held various roles as a writer-in-residence, artist, and researcher in countries including Greenland, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Japan, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Estonia, Austria, and Latvia. She has actively participated in artist residencies and research projects across Japan, Russia, Austria, France, Portugal, Latvia, Estonia, the United States, and Spain.

Ljiljana Maletin’s writings span a wide range of subjects, including contemporary visual art, (post)feminist and women’s art, gender studies, Scandinavian studies, intercultural dialogue, and art books.
Among her literary works are novels such as Skrik, Those Who Eat Raw Meat, Dwarves and Hyperborea, and In Exile, as well as non-fiction narratives like Farsickness / Homesickness / Homelessness.
She has also written numerous essays, including A Woman Artist’s Room of One’s Own, How to Understand Contemporary Art Practice, How to Understand New Art Practice, Norway: From Bjørnson to Knausgaard, The Image of Sweden in Serbian Culture, Finland – Land of Kalevala, Lakes, and Saunas, and Norwegian Story.
She won several literary awards: Ulaznica Zrenjanin (first prize for essay), Milutin Uskoković (second prize for short story), and Andra Gavrilović (first prize for short story). Her novel Skrik (2020) was longlisted for the NIN Award in 2021.

Additionally, Ljiljana Maletin has published photo books and conceptual art books.
